Early Career and Success

Mike Kidd's racing career began in quarter-midgets, where he quickly rose to prominence. He became one of the leading promoters of AMA races in the 1980s and early 1990s, and inaugurated the AMA Arenacross in 1985.

Grand National Champion and Industry Accolades

Kidd's racing career reached its peak in 1981 when he won the AMA Winston Pro Grand National Championship. He was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1998, cementing his status as an AMA racing legend.
