What Happened?
Perdue Foods LLC has recalled 167,171 pounds of frozen chicken products due to the potential presence of metal. The affected products include both organic and regular chicken tenders and nuggets.

- Frozen breaded chicken breast tenders (16 oz. packages)
- Frozen breaded chicken tenders (22 oz. packages)
- Frozen breaded chicken nuggets (12 oz. packages)
- Frozen breaded chicken nuggets (22 oz. packages)
What to Do
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged to check their freezers and discard any affected products. Do not eat the recalled chicken products.
Perdue Foods is offering refunds for all recalled products. Consumers can contact Perdue Foods customer service at 1-877-PERDUE1 (1-877-737-3831) for more information.
Why the Recall?
Perdue Foods initiated the recall after receiving complaints from consumers who found metal fragments in the chicken products. The company is investigating the source of the contamination.
